Client FAQ's
How do engagements typically begin?
Most engagements begin with a short Operational Readiness Assessment (Tier 1). This allows us to identify where readiness breaks down and quantify risk before making changes.
Do we have to move forward after the assessment?
No. The assessment stands on its own.
After the assessment, clients may:
-
Act on the findings internally
-
Engage targeted corrective support (Tier 2)
-
Defer action
All three are valid options.
Why not start with training?
Training is a treatment, not a diagnosis.
Without understanding where execution actually breaks down, training often reinforces assumptions rather than fixing root causes. The assessment ensures any training is targeted and effective.
What makes this different from traditional training or consulting?
This work is:
-
Observation-based, not assumption-based
-
Framework-driven, not ad hoc
-
Quantified, not anecdotal
Readiness is measured, validated, and sustained — not inferred.
How long do engagements last?
-
Tier 1 assessments typically last 2–5 days
-
Tier 2 corrective engagements typically run 6–12 weeks
-
Tier 3 embedded support is short, time-bound, and defined by operational need
Exact timelines are defined in the Statement of Work.
Are you acting as staff or taking ownership of outcomes?
No.
I operate as an independent consultant and advisor. Internal leadership retains ownership of decisions and execution. My role is to identify risk, design corrective approaches, and support readiness.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both.
Assessments and Tier 3 support often include on-site presence. Remote work is used where appropriate to reduce disruption and cost. All on-site expectations are defined in advance.
How is confidentiality handled?
All engagements are covered by confidentiality provisions. Client-specific information is treated as confidential and not shared.
Do you work with government or defense programs?
Yes. Engagements are structured to be compatible with defense, aerospace, and other high-reliability environments. Any clearance or access requirements must be arranged by the client.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is fixed or prepaid by tier, with scope defined in advance. This avoids open-ended billing and keeps expectations clear.
